2023 is going to be an exciting year and I am welcoming it with open arms!

This year is going to be full of new adventures.
I’m starting a new school course, which I’m excited about, i’m doing a literal 360 in my professional life & I am so excited, I’ll share more on this shortly. Little Miss will be joining us shortly, so we are spending time getting ready for her to join us.
This year my focus is on my health & wellbeing. I’m aiming for daily movement, 10K steps daily, and finding a routine that works for me. Getting back to eating healthier as well is huge, I love veggies & haven’t been able to stomach them until recently so just trying to get back to that 80/20 rule & really using food to nourish. Now that I have nothing but time, I am really going to be trying to cook more, and just prep ahead for lunches & dinners. Having everything ready to go will make my life easier & motivate me to cook more, I am aiming to try 2 new recipes a month, I’ve said this before but I’m actually determined this time around.
As always, I am setting a reading goal for myself. This year given the circumstances I’ve decided to cut back on how many books. This year my goal is to read 40 books. I’m hoping to surpass it, but with a new baby coming along I won’t be pressuring myself too hard.
I know I said this the last few years, but I do always want to really focus on getting better with finances. I recently lost my job & we are now down to one income, so just making sure i’m not mindlessly spending money like I normally would now that we are sharing a credit card. Only buying things that I need (once something runs out). I’m going to do closet clean outs more often, selling & donating anything that is unworn. Plus a little house declutter, just cleaning up the crawl space & cupboards, organize everything a little more before baby comes.
2022 was full of love, travel, surprises & a little loss. I’m welcoming 2023 with open arms & an open mindset for change. 2023 will be a year of learning, growing & adapting. Bring on 2023!
Do you have any ‘focuses’ or ‘goals’ or ‘resolutions’ or anything you want to manifest for 2023?
Wishing you an exciting and happy 2023 everyone!
