Another month bites the dust.. 

Life:

This month was so weird, usually we filled our days with wedding stuff & we all of a sudden had nothing to do in relation to that. Which was an odd adjustment after spending so much time planning the wedding. We started the month of November on our honeymoon, we went down to Nassau, Bahamas. I absolutely love the Bahamas, it’s literally my go-to place in the Caribbean. It was so nice to get away for the week, and literally just chill out. We spent our days by the pool / ocean, just soaking up the sun & taking it easy. We have had a whole lot going on the past few months, so having a relaxing & semi sleepy month was nice in comparison. 

Work: Work was busy post honeymoon, it was great, it literally kept me busy. My world did take a slight turn mid-november & I got ‘terminated’ from my position due to budget cuts. Knowing that it had nothing to do with my work or performance really took a lot out of me and I can’t lie, I spent the last 2 weeks of the month in a funk, plus it’s just not a great time of the year to not be working. I know things will turn around but I’m just taking it day by day right now. 

I turned 28 as well this past month, birthday’s don’t quite excite me anymore but we had a nice night and even ventured down to downtown Toronto for a nice dinner, which was a nice change up from our sleepy little town. 

Reading: got through quite a few books which was amazing & I even got some off my to-read list which felt amazing. Slowly but surely getting through my ‘Want to Read’ list. 

Fitness wise: I tried my best to get moving. I found myself going on more walks last month than anything. I’ve been really tired lately & honestly spending the time outside has been really good for me.
