I just wanted to share a few things that I have been loving lately.
Facial Ice Roller
I got the Skinny Confidential ice roller for Christmas & just love using it on my face after I wake up / after skincare. I have always been a fan of icing my face, however using actual ice cubes can get messy and you can’t use them after you’ve put any lotions on. So this is literally a love, it did also travel with me to St Lucia & will forever join me everywhere.
Melissa Wood Health Workouts
I started doing MWH in December when I was starting to feel very burnt out. I was trying to find more low impact workouts – I wanted to move my body but without doing HIIT or cardio. I absolutely love her workouts – they are the perfect mix of yoga / pilates / strength that really push the definition of exercise in my opinion. I’ve always been a kill yourself with workouts & these have really helped me change my mindset. I try to do her workouts 3 or 4 times a week, and love being able to just focus on moving my body for 20 minutes and being done with my workout for the day…rather than it always having to be an hour of something super intense / sweaty! My flexibility increased, and sleep quality has improved.
This is a random as all hell one, but I recently bought myself exfoliating gloves for when I shower & they have been probably the best $5 I have spent in a long time. Highly recommend getting a set versus spending the money on exfoliating products.
Laptop Stand & Wireless Keyboard
Last month, I convinced work to elevate my work set up & I got both a laptop stand & a wireless keyboard. I love them both so much & literally do not know how I went so long in life working on a laptop without either. Even now it feels so weird to be not using either. But yeah, I literally love them.
I love agenda’s & didn’t have one for a while. Usually I use them to keep track of my days (appointments, meetings, etc.), however I found that it wouldn’t work going forward because things moved around so often & I would spend time on Sunday filling it in only to cross it out. So I started using it differently & my goodness it’s been great. I’m using the weekly view with dates to keep track of what tasks need to be done, & adding personal appointments/things. I find this has been way more helpful & has kept me on task / more organized. I’ve even been tracking my workouts in the monthly calendar view so I can see what I did on what day.
These are just a few things I’m loving lately. There are probably more things I could have added but these are definitely a few of the things at the top of my list right now.
Is there anything you’re loving these days?
