Oh hey, long time no post!
So now that I’m back at work & yes driving to the office every day, it feels like there are never enough hours in a day anymore. It’s safe to say, i’m exhausted allll the time. With the holidays around the corner and another lockdown starting Monday, I wanted to share three things that are on the top of my list to make more time for.
- Phone calls
This is more directed at calling my grandparents and just talking. I always plan to call after work, but then get tied up or I feel to tired, which isn’t okay. Right now things are tough and calling to check in is better than nothing. They mean the world to me and I can carve the time out.
- Eating real food
So I am the worst when I start to feel stressed, I lose my appetite often & find myself not having actual meals, just snacking. Last week alone, I maybe had breakfast once and maybe had dinner only 2 nights during the week. Also, adding more veggies back onto my plate is a must! I feel so much better when my plate is loaded with greens.
Dun Dun Dun. So usually i’m pretty good about making the time to exercise, but the last two weeks, i’ve been really slacking and just exhausted which isn’t motivating. So just taking some time whether it’s 5 minutes or 45 minutes to just stretch or hop on the bike or walk outside. I find my days feel so much more together when I take time to move my body.
I’m sure I could mention a million things, but these are definitely the top things that I want to focus on for the next few days and weeks.
