I Just Watched: ‘Sweet Magnolias’

Happy Wednesday!

Another day, another tv series finished….
So today, I wanted to share my thoughts on the new show on Netflix called ‘Sweet Magnolias’. Here’s the quick little summary:

Centers around three South Carolina women, best friends since high school, as they lift each other up as they juggle relationships, family and careers in the small Southern town of Serenity.
– I mixed the IMDB & Wiki one, now it sounds better

I’m not even going to lie, I did end up watching this one quickly. There were only 10 episodes & they weren’t that long. I finished it a few days ago but needed to really breathe after the way it ended. Let’s just say, I need a season 2 ASAP, I need to know what happens next!

So I loved this show. It was literally the breathe of fresh air that I needed. The whole story line was just heart warming, childhood friends that are yes still best friends dealing with being moms & everything that life is throwing at them & navigating life in general. The one thing I loved, that hopefully my best friends & I will end up doing one day is having a weekly margarita night, with guacamole & everything. Despite seeing each other always, they made time to still have a night where they could talk & really show they’re support for each other. I can’t lie, I had so many emotions watching this. I personally was so upset by the ending (not mad at it, but like sad) because I felt invested in the characters & the life they had in Serenity.

Have you watched ‘Sweet Magnolias’? I’m curious to hear your thoughts!
Also, I’m always taking Netflix recommendations, feel free to share them!
