Happy Monday!

Another day, another tv series finished….
I wanted to share my thoughts on the new show on Netflix called ‘Outer Banks’. Here’s the quick little summary:

A group of teenagers from the wrong side of the tracks stumble upon a treasure map that unearths a long buried secret.

I’m not even going to lie, this show took me maybe 2 days to watch. It is only unfortunately 10 episodes, which yes, they seem to fly on by. I also finished it a few days ago but obviously needed to give myself a few days to really mourn that I finished it so quickly & also, I just needed to breathe after that final.

So I loved it, yes, loved this show. I am already just casually hoping they give us season 2 a whole lot quicker. Basically right from the beginning I was absolutely hooked. The main characters are a bunch of local kids in this beach town & yes living the damn life. Like can I just live in a beach town already?? But yeah, like they wake up & decide to skip out & spend all day on the water, or just casually deciding to break the law (which I think they did all the time, but whatever no biggie apparently). But yes, the main character, John B is just totally one of those dreamy local misfits basically. I obviously don’t want to give too much away incase this show is on your ‘watch list’ but basically I don’t know how many times I had a minor heart attack or said ‘oh my f**k’ (it was a whole lot some episodes), but like so much happens, the producers really just wanted to give us everything all at once & I am alll for it. The beginning was a little slow, but only because they really give you the backstory & then all of a sudden not even into the second episode its like *BAM* all the emotions, all the drama & yess allll the action. There really is just so much going on, that I promise you will not even want to be doing anything else while you are watching, but the episodes do fly on by. I promise you will feel all the emotions!
