5 Things I’m Loving Lately – Part 2

Hey friends! How is everyone hanging in there right now? How are you? (You don’t have to tell me obviously), but try to take a moment, check in with yourself. Take a deep breath, this will all hopefully be over soon.

It’s been what, maybe 4 weeks, maybe 2 weeks, maybe a lifetime (that’s what it feels like) since this whole Covid-19 thing started to ramp up. I feel like I literally haven’t left the house in ages & really have no concept of time or days anymore. I assume all of us are social distancing / staying home / quarantining these days, which is a change for a whole lot of us. I personally feel like I’ve been preparing for this forever since I’m definitely more of a home body more than anything but yes, it’s really been getting to me too, there were a few things that I liked to do & leave the house for but don’t worry you aren’t in this alone!

I just wanted to share a few things that have literally been loving lately (a few things a little more now then ever!!)

Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel
I used to love face masks until I discovered this peel in one of my fab fit fun boxes, basically its a very gentle peel, I only use it once a week but you can use it up to twice a week, I like to do it in the morning to wake my skin up after washing it. It only takes 10 – 15 minutes but its been a total skin saver for me!

EyEnvy Conditioner
Another beauty thing, sorry everyone! But yeah so my mom bought me this & I started using it at the end of February. Basically it’s a lash & eyebrow serum to help them grow. I started using it religiously after washing my face in the morning & I in just over a month, you can already tell that my lashes are growing longer & getting fuller (yay), but also a the bald spots on my eyebrows are starting to grow back. They’re also super amazing about  having all the instructions & facts on the website with this product, that I honestly am super excited to see what both my eyelashes & brows look like after 3 months of using this religiously.

Greens+
So I think this is now the second time I’ve mentioned this one, but back in march, I added a greens supplement into my diet. I try to take it daily mixed in water. Obviously it’s been great adding more greens to my diet but it’s also known to help to also boost your immune system & energy levels, which is totally needed these days. Plus it’s such an easy way to get some more vitamins & greens without having to worry!

Daily Walks
Yes, you read that right. I’ve been going on daily walks that range from 2km – 5 kms daily (obviously the walk distance is all dependant on the weather). But literally daily walks have been my saving grace, they get me outside & get me moving, I drain a little energy which helps me sleep better to. But yes, I literally can not function without taking my daily walk, otherwise I feel like I might go a little nuts sitting inside the condo all day. Once the weather warms up, you can bet I’ll probably ramp it up to two walks a day, just to get that sunshine!

Santa Margarita Pinot Grigio
So yes, the one you have been waiting for. We have been really enjoying our wine these days & it seems like we found a Pinot Grigio that we both enjoy. Obviously we’re now trying to cut back because we realized we were drinking it quite often the last couple weeks since self-distancing & being forced to stay home happened, but it’s a perfect pairing!

So these are just a few of the things I am currently loving lately, being cooped up means this list is a little different now than it would have been a month ago, but that’s life. It was also hard to choose things but I figured you didn’t want to hear about my new plants that I thankfully haven’t killed yet!

Is there anything you’re loving these days?

Stay safe, & wash your hands!

      • This morning was soooo nice! I went for my short loop because I told the crazy roommate I was gonna do my monthly clean of the bathroom as soon as I got back. But I could have gone for the big loop. Then this afternoon it was snowing when I went out? Insanity!

      • OMG, I’m jealous I should have went first thing like you did. I went in the afternoon after one of the quick snowfalls ended & unexpectedly got stuck walking in a blizzard at one point, lets just say it wasn’t the longest loop I’ve done!

      • Haha I’m going out now. I’m usually out by 8am but today I’m a little slow – I have nothing being submitted from my ducklings and their work today is the easiest of easy so I think my brain is like “slow your roll, relaaaaxxxxx” haha no motivation whatsoever
