Happy Halloween Everyone!
Another month has come and gone. There’s literally only two months left of 2019 … Two months left. Just honestly, where is 2019 going!
So I guess with the usual complaining about time passing by so darn quickly, it’s time to dive into my monthly recap…
Life:
Where do I start….
I really don’t have any ‘living on my own’ updates. Right now it’s just all about getting back into a routine now that I have all my furniture, & everything is pretty well together. Right now I’m basically just trying to get my life together & make sure I can take care of myself basically.
I did good reading this month, I read a whole bunch, even visited the library a few times, which put me on a slight reading deadline but it helped light a fire under my butt. However, I am still behind on my reading challenge, so we’ll see what happens here, hopefully I can catch up in the next few weeks.
‘P’ & I survived another month of dating. We even survived our first ‘holiday’ together. We went to each others families for Thanksgiving this year, it was a change that’s for sure but as i’m learning, relationships are about compromise! We did however get into our first two big fights, & let me say, wow. I’m not going into detail but it’s not fun, I’ll tell you that.
So my stomach issues returned & after a bunch of tests, I am still doing my protocol for repairing my ‘gut’ as they say. It’s been a very tough with the changes I’ve had to make to my diet, & lifestyle, but in the end I know it’ll be worth it when I’m feeling not just better but like 100% better. I also fell off the wagon a little with Thanksgiving, so that didn’t help but i’m trying my best to get back on track even though it’s been super hard & that’s all that matters.
I had to bite the bullet & get myself a new laptop. I finally got something that’s lighter & easier to lug around for work. But I’m hoping this will also motivate me to write a little more & get back to blogging a little!
I’m hoping that in November I have some time to breathe & can have some fun. I’ve been feeling so uptight & just blah this last month. Plus it does help that my birthday is coming up this month, so it’s something to look forward to!
Oh & we have another milestone coming up… Uniquely Cass turns two mid-November! I honestly can’t believe how fast time has flown, it’s pretty surreal to see how much has changed since I’ve started writing!
What I’ve Been Watching:
TV:
- Pearson
- All – American
- Nancy Drew
- The Good Doctor
Netflix:
- Jane The Virgin
- Riverdale
Work:
Well, I survived the first few weeks at my new job. It’s not what I expected it to be which is a little disappointing but it happens! I’m still questioning if I made the right career move, but time will tell!
I am also still doing my side work, & I applied for a few volunteer positions, I’m trying to add a little more to my plate, I like being a busy bee.
In Case You Missed This Months Blog Posts
Here is a quick recap in case you missed any posts from October:
‘Q & Cass’:
It has been so awesome, sitting down & answering all your questions! I started this series to give you all a chance to get to know me & ask questions, make it feel like we are catching up over coffee (or in my case, having a tea date). Comment your questions here, or even contact me with your questions. I appreciate all the question’s I’ve already received, & had a great time answering! I had a great time answering your questions this month & can’t wait to answer the next bunch in December!
How was your October? Did anything exciting happen?
Any big plans for November?
Thanks for reading!
So I’m also watching Nancy Drew. Didn’t know if I liked it after the first few episodes but I haven’t stopped watching it yet so I guess I like it?

It feels very Riverdaley, like I can do without the supernatural/ghost stuff. I just want to know who the murderer is.

OMG, I thought it was just me that thought it was very similar to Riverdale. Right, I feel like I need to know before I can stop watching
