Oh my lord, no month has honestly gone by so quickly, plus I guess time really does fly by when you’re busy! Plus how is the summer already over, I mean it’s already Labour Day Weekend!
Another monthly recap, another complaint about the month flying by! So I guess with that, it’s time to dive into my monthly recap…
Life:
I moved!!! I have officially been living on my own for about a week now! It’s taken some time to adjust to living on my own again but it’s nice to have my own space. I have been trying to buy stuff & organize. It’s been a stressful few months & past week but I can’t wait to have everything in place.
As you probably noticed, I didn’t do much writing again this month. I was a little pre occupied with my move & all that fun stuff. But I did try my best to read & catch up on my 50 book reading challenge for 2019, I’m still behind, so we’ll see what happens.
‘P’ & I have now been dating for almost two months. He has been really awesome helping me with my whole move, he spent a lot of time putting together furniture (Ikea furniture too) & taking me to stores so I could use his truck, you name it! Next weekend, We are going to Cleveland (of all places, I know), I was totally against it at first but the closer it gets the more excited I am.
So my stomach issues returned & after a bunch of tests, I have finally started my protocol for repairing my gut health. It’s been a very tough almost two weeks with the drastic changes I’ve had to make to my diet, & lifestyle, but in the end I know it’ll be worth it when I’m feeling better.
Back at the end of June, I decided to stop taking my hormonal birth control, it’s been a wacky two months, but lone behold my migraines & even headaches have disappeared. I honestly can’t believe what a huge the difference going off the pill would have on me!
TV wise: I caught up on The Grand Hotel & Big Little Lies, I also ended up finishing the new season of Suits on Netflix. I did watch ‘The Family’ on Netflix, it’s a little weird & if you’re into conspiracies, you should go watch it. I also don’t have cable at my condo, just wonderfully magical high-speed internet. So if anyone has any Netflix/Amazon Prime/Crave suggestions, let me know!!!
Work:
I have been busy at work, we moved offices so I spent all month organizing & getting that together.
I am still searching & applying to jobs, it’s crazy how long the process can take!
I am still doing my ‘side work’ in the evenings creating online newsletter’s & doing the social media for a local business’. It’s been keeping me nice & busy in the evenings. I have also been toying around with starting my own business related to social media marketing, so we’ll see if I carry through with that!
Here is a quick recap in case you missed any posts from August:
- Keeping Up With Cass
- It’s Official..
- I’ve Officially Met ‘The Parents’
- Q & Cass – Pt. 4
- Slowly Settling In
- August Reading Recap
‘Q & Cass’:
It has been so awesome, sitting down & answering all your questions! I started this series to give you all a chance to get to know me & ask questions, make it feel like we are catching up over coffee (or in my case, having a tea date). Comment your questions here, or even contact me with your questions. I appreciate all the question’s I’ve already received, & had a great time answering! I had a great time answering your questions this month & can’t wait to answer the next bunch in October!
How was your August? Did anything exciting happen?
Any big plans for September?
Thanks for reading!
I also have no cable and right now I’m living off of CTV.ca – they have a tv show and movie section but I’m in their throwback section. They have all of dawson’s Creek! I just finished “Franklin and bash” which was hilarious!

I figured out I can tap into my moms bell fibe account which was pretty cool.

ooo you might also want to check out sidereel.com if you don’t have an account already. I use their tracker – it tells you when a new episode of a tv show is airing and then I will watch it on the network website the day after. It’s my way of keeping up to date with the shows that I love to watch without having an actual tv
