Happy Wednesday!
So i’ve gone from barely posting anything this past month to posting three blog posts in a row, let’s see if I can keep up with writing for the next little bit.
July has flown on by & it’s hard to believe summer is halfway done already!
With that, it’s time for my monthly recap…
Life:
As you probably noticed, I didn’t do much writing again this month. I was trying to read a whole lot though which was great & really helped me de-stress (bonus). There is nothing I love more than alone time & curling up with a book.
I am no longer on the market, I started dating ‘P’. Recently I wrote that we went on a few dates, & we’ve been hanging out a whole bunch. This whole dating thing has been interesting & totally different for us (& me) but it’s been fun.
I have been hitting the gym a little less this month, but i’m trying to be more effective with my workouts & I stopped doing workout programs for the time being. It’s all been working out pretty darn good I think (see what I did there, that was supposed to be funny). I also decided to start seeing a specialist again about my stomach & i’m in the process of starting to heal my gut yet again, since everything starting up again. Hopefully this time around I can fix things for good.
TV wise: I watched ‘Ozark’ & ‘When They See Us‘ on Netflix. I also watched: The Bachelorette on TV week after week, I am still not over Tyler being sent home. My heart literally is still broken but in the end they agreed to go on a date & all is right in the Bachelor world & my heart can be put back together. I told ‘P’ that he had better take some damn notes on just about everything Tyler did for Hannah & how he worded everything he said, that was one funny conversation. I still have to catch up on: The Grande Hotel & Big Little Lies (thank god for DVR). I am really trying to clear out ‘My List’ on my Netflix account. So I finally watched: Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile with Zac Efron as Ted Bundy (I really didn’t like it, or didn’t like Zac as Ted, I don’t know), I did also watch ‘Secret Obsession’ & I would not recommend it either.
Work:
I did have two interviews. One I thought it went good, but then I never heard from them, even after following up with them… The other, the guy gave me ‘homework’ to send him, but wouldn’t tell me the pay, which is pretty important especially if I had to go downtown everyday for work. So ya, just casually still searching & still applying to jobs.
Last month, I did end up picked up an extra side hustle creating online newsletter’s & doing the social media for a local business’. It’s been keeping me nice & busy in the evenings.
I also ended up serving at a private event some people I know had one Saturday night, which was a great to pick up a few extra bucks, while seeing some friends!

‘Q & Cass’:
It has been so awesome, sitting down & answering all your questions! I started this series to give you all a chance to get to know me & ask questions, make it feel like we are catching up over coffee (or in my case, having a tea date). Comment your questions here, or even contact me with your questions. I appreciate all the question’s I’ve already received, & had a great time answering! I had a great time answering your questions this month & can’t wait to answer the next bunch in August!
How was your July? Did anything exciting happen? Any big plans for August?
Now if you’ll excuse me it’s time for me to get my reading on!
Thanks for reading!
