A while back, Paul & Becky recommended I should give ‘Ozark‘ a watch & so after a while, I finally gave in & watched it on Netflix. I decided to start it one night when I was walking on the treadmill & couldn’t decide what to watch/couldn’t watch The Bachelorette at that time & figured I might as well get it off my ‘to watch’ list.
It took me a little longer than I expected to get through the twenty episodes. Despite how dark most of the scenes are (Paul & Becky, you were so right about this), I trekked through & got it done!
Here’s the quick little summary:
A financial adviser drags his family from Chicago to the Missouri Ozarks, where he must launder $500 million in five years to appease a drug boss.
– Again thanks IMDB for the short & sweet summary.
Overall, I thought it was pretty good, I did however think there was just a little too much going on at once in a few episodes & that it got a little to dark at times, but it was pretty interesting. I mean it was full of suspense, drama & crime, they did a good job at keeping you on your toes! I also liked that we finally got to know both Wendy & Ruth a lot better later in the second season!
If you’ve watched ‘Ozark’ I’d love to hear your thoughts on it. I’m curious to hear your thoughts! Also, I’m always taking Netflix recommendations, feel free to share them!
I started watching Ozark, but really only got through a couple episodes. The one thing I remember about it was that it was really really dark so with that I do agree! This post kind of makes me wanna give it another go though, I feel like I could get into it more!

I’ve heard that from so many people, they had a tough time getting through it as well! I honestly can’t lie, I did almost give up on it a time or two but made myself finish it.
But i’m glad I wasn’t the only one that found it dark!

I’ve never seen the show, it does sound interesting. Wow – way to binge-watch it…I’m amazed at people who can do that, I’d fall asleep. 😉

Don’t worry, i’m the same! I always fall asleep if I watch stuff to close to bed, so I usually have to binge watch post-dinner or while I’m working 😂

Whew, glad to hear I’m not alone. While working…hmm…yeah, I can binge watch DIY shows while I pretend to work on other home maintenance projects 😉 I haven’t tried other types of shows though, maybe you’ve inspired me?! 😉
