Hello April

Happy April!

Three months of 2019 already done! Can you believe it, I honestly can’t believe how fast this year has been flying by! Bare with me while I quickly recap last month!

Work has been stressing me right out. I love what I do & I love all the people I have had the pleasure of working & connecting with. But I am honestly exhausted doing the same thing day after day & basically having no motivation to do it. But ya, so right now just taking it day by day & basically waiting for my new contract to come in.
I have applied to a few jobs, but haven’t heard anything yet. So who knows!

There really isn’t much here to report. I finally got some decent reading in last month which was awesome!
I also downloaded Bumble last month & just been playing around with that.
I started watching ‘The Good Wife‘ on Netflix & got hooked. I was a little shook when I realized that the episodes are 45 minutes long & there are around 23 episodes a season. As you can guess, I totally didn’t check before I started watching so that was my bad! But now I have a new season to watch!
On Friday, I finally signed up for my first 10k of the year. I would have done it sooner but Lululemon doesn’t open registration until just over two months before. But I am so excited to get into training mode & get running!
I also started looking at places again. Nothing in Downtown Toronto because those prices are crazy & that is just not happening! I started looking in the GTA & it’s a bit more reasonable so I like that, plus it’s close to work!
On the plus side, it’s finally warming up weather wise & my social life is slowly coming back to life. Why does the winter have to last so long!

Here is a quick recap in case you missed any posts from March:

‘Q & Cass’:
I started the ‘Q & Cass Series’. I am answering 5 questions from my followers/readers every other month! I want to give you all a chance to get to know me & ask questions, make it feel like we are catching up over coffee (or in my case, having a tea date).
Comment your questions here, or even contact me with your questions.
I appreciate all the question’s I’ve already received, & had a great time answering (if you didn’t see yours in part one, stay tuned)! I can’t wait to answer all the questions you all have!

How was your March? Did anything exciting happen? Any big plans this month?

I don’t know about you but I am excited to April!
I decided to do a 30 day shopping ban to stop myself from spending money unnecessarily. Easter is also coming up which means family time at the cottage & my brothers will be home soon so i’ll have people to hangout with again! The weather is going to start warming up & we know I would trade the snow any day!

Have a fantastic week!
Thanks for reading!

  1. Wow! I know the feeling of “same old same old” at your job. Positive vibes for you to find something quickly!! That job search can be a struggle!
