Hello February

Happy February everyone!

As you can imagine, this year has already started off on an interesting foot, I’m also not sure if it was just me or what but January felt like the longest month ever! I mean we did get hit with some serious winter weather up here in Ontario, we basically got hit with crazy cold temperatures & a whole lot of snow!

This month, I was lucky enough to get out of the GTA a few times, I traveled to Dallas at the beginning of the month with my dad to watch the Cowboys play the Seahawks in the first round of the playoffs. I was on cloud 9, I have no other words to express how I felt! & then last weekend, I traveled a little north to Collingwood with my parents, my cousin was up there so it was super awesome to see her a bunch! I spent a whole lot of time outside in the cold, cross country skiing & eating frozen maple syrup on a stick (such a Canadian thing to say).

I also got the chance to hangout with one of my university friends who came in from New Zealand, it was nice to catch up. We ended up having a touristy day around Toronto that weekend (he really wanted to go to the Hockey Hall of Fame), so we did that & then grabbed some food.

Last month was super, super busy work wise. I ended up having not one but two events organize. It also didn’t help that they we not even a week apart. I am also in the process of planning our next two events & trying to secure locations for one in may, so it’s been busy. My little assistant went away without giving anyone notice, so that really didn’t help with my stress levels.

In other news, I cut & dyed my hair super dark, it’s taken me a little to get used to it but I think it was fitting for this extreme cold weather we got. I also started this whole new workout routine, that has helped me stay extremely motivated, & I’ve even been able to do my workouts at home thanks to it!
Since I was super busy, I didn’t end up reading as much as I liked but that was my own fault for picking super, super long books & attempting to read them. I am really hoping to catch up this month!

Here is a quick recap in case you missed any posts from January:
