New to Meal Planning

One of my biggest things for 2019, is getting back to eating healthy & cooking my own meals. Unfortunately in recent months eating healthy has been tough, I was dealing with some stomach issues that are for the most part hopefully gone. With that being said, I am super motivated to get my diet back on track & make sure I don’t have to deal with the sort of stomach pains I was dealing with on a daily basis. I am lucky enough to not do this on my own, believe me I know how hard it is to try new things without help. My  personal trainer & now nutritionist has helped me come up with a ‘easy to follow’ food list that I can still follow with my weird schedule but also supports my lifestyle. The only tough part is, I now have to measure out how much protein, carbs & fats I am eating at ever meal… Crazy right, I’ve turned into one of those people. Now each time I eat, I have to make sure I don’t over-eat or even worse, under-eat.

Right now I am just making sure I eat a real meal when I am hungry (yes, I now have to prep a few meals to bring with me when I leave the house) so I am eating anywhere from 3 – 6 meals a day right now while I get used to this & attempt to stop snacking. I know, I know, it sounds like a whole lot of food, but it hasn’t been too bad just yet. But I happen to be able to eat a variation of foods I enjoy, which as of right now has made this a whole lot easier to get going with.

It has has only been a few days now but I am already enjoying this (check with me again in a few days, let’s see if i’m still this excited about this then).
Plus, sharing this with you all, is now holding me super accountable to sticking with this for a little & see how things go!
