Happy 2019 Everyone!
I honestly can not believe how fast this past year just flew by. I swear 2018 is a slight blur, I did my best to quickly recap the year! Missed my 2018 recap, you can read it here
But I don’t know about you but I am so excited for a new year & some new opportunities!
On that note, this year I am going to do something slightly different. Last year I made a list of goals in January & posted each month how each the last month went, along with giving a short update on my life. This year, I’ll keep the monthly updates, & all that juicy gossip going on in my life (just call me gossip girl, kidding, don’t), but also since I will be posting these at the beginning of the month, I’d like to list what I want to get out of the upcoming month & see how that goes! But this year, I don’t really want to set ‘goals’ or ‘resolutions’ for this year. This month, since we’ve already had a few updates & what not recently, we’ll just have to try the new format idea in February.
But I have a few things I am writing down for 2019 & putting out there, hoping they’ll come true. I have already spent so much time adding events & appointments into my calendar, got my budget sheet all ready for the year, organized my 2018 stuff for my taxes already, & I feel like I can keep this list going, I am ready to see how everything unfolds & start the year on a strong foot & totally prepared.

My new day timer for 2019! Thanks Chapters
2019 ‘Goals’
Blogging Goals
Why not make some!
- Post 2 blog posts a week!
- Make some more blogging connections
- Hopefully connect & meet-up with some bloggers in the Toronto area.
Work Goals:
Well, where do I begin. Despite a busy schedule ahead, I plan on living a more balanced life this year when it comes to my work/life balance.
- Start using my LinkedIn for posts (re: events I attended, etc)
- Delegate tasks, take some work off my plate
- Network, network, network.
Personal Goals:
I know I mentioned I didn’t want to set ‘goals’ this year, I would like to just update on life & mention things here & there that I would like to accomplish. But the basic ‘goals’ or ‘resolutions’:
- Read 50 books – read 4 books a month
- Start taking budgeting seriously, again…
- Save money where I can
- Get rid of clutter
- Stay true to my beliefs
- Keep a gratitude journal
- Start going to church again
- Take more pictures…
- Believe in myself!
Fitness Goals:
Personally I love setting fitness goals. Fitness has always been a huge part of my life, I love feeling my muscles burning, pushing myself to see what my body is capable of.
- Fuel my body properly & nutritiously
- Learn to cook healthier meals for myself
- Stay consistent with my running schedule
- Stretch daily
- Invest in my health – no more excuses get the massage you need, etc.
- Drink more water!
My main focus for the year ahead is to just be me & be happy. I don’t want to feel like i’m in a corner or stuck doing something I dislike.
I feel like I have some big plans for this year!
Do you have any ‘goals’ or ‘resolutions’ for 2019?
Happy 2019!
xx cd
Good luck CD!

These sound like really good goals! I’m hoping to get better with taking more pictures, too, especially to use on my blog. And I need to get better about stretching after I run haha.

These are some great goals to have. Especially making more time for reading. I find it too easy to come home from work and put on the TV but instead should pick up my book. Good luck with all your goals this year.
