Hi Ya’ll
As many of you now know, I embarked on a life changing journey 6 whole months ago. I decided that after years of saying ‘one day’ or ‘when the time is right’ or ‘I couldn’t possibly do something like this’, I finally bit the bullet & signed up for my 200 hr Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Course. You can read about my thoughts on this journey 2 months into the training here!
We are no longer only two months in, I completed the course this past weekend & I can definitely say that over the last 6 months, despite having whole lot on my plate, I did it! Not only have I changed so much as a person, it really is truely hard to describe but I learned so much about myself & I faced some of my biggest fears in these last 6 months. But guess what? Not only did I survive & actually believe in myself at times when I wanted to quit, but I AM OFFICIALLY A CERTIFIED YOGA TEACHER!!! (As you can see, I am excited).
So I am thinking of starting up a freelance yoga teaching business on the side & I have actually already secured one weekly client, but also I have talked to a local studio & a local coworking space about possibly setting up a weekly class, now we wait! If you are in the Greater Toronto Area & are interested in some classes let me know! If you are not in the area but still want to do classes I am also super open to teaching online if anyone is interested (I know it’s not the same, sorry)! I am already so excited to share what I have learned so far & help others grow!
Personally, I know I still have so much to learn, not only about yoga but also about myself! Like I mentioned above, I feel like a whole different person for some reason today, & I can not wait to see what I can accomplish & where I will end up on this journey!
I wanted to keep this short & sweet tonight, see if I could get some excitement out of my system by writing this post (I really could use some sleep after this weekend)!
Also, I think I found my new motto:

Congratulations Cass! I’m proud of you! This is really cool. I love your motto. Good energy is contagious. It truly is, I wholeheartedly agree. I’m a huge sports guy as you know and one of my strongest beliefs is what I call “PMA” (Positive Mental Attitude). I am a big clap-for-my-teammates kind of person. I feel what people need is confidence and positivity to succeed. When I’m coaching I am all about PMA rather than berating my team. I don’t understand coaches that rip on players and yell and scream. That doesn’t work as well as trusting in each other with love and cameraderie. To me, that’s what coaching is all about…. giving your team a belief in them and their skills. People perform better when they’re doing it with confidence. OK, enough with my rant.
Congrats! I will be cheering for you!!!

Thank you so much Reid, really appreciate it!
Also I couldn’t agree more with your rant, I find a positive attitude goes a long way compared to the yelling, etc!
